Reflecting on 2025 and Continuing the Work in 2026

We are grateful for what was accomplished across Uganda, Kenya, and Nigeria, and we look ahead with hope to 2026.

In June and July 2025, ministry leaders were able to travel to all three countries where CIM has outreach. These visits provided an opportunity to fellowship with pastors, church leaders, and congregations, and see how the ministry continues to grow and adapt. Church buildings are being constructed or upgraded, new groups are forming with the potential to become future churches, and pastors and local leaders are receiving teaching that strengthens both their ministry and their families.

In Kenya, regular fellowship among churches continues under strong leadership. Many members are farmers and face ongoing financial challenges, yet the churches remain faithful, determined, and encouraged about the future of the ministry.

In Uganda, CIM churches are organized by zones, a structure that has strengthened oversight and administration. This approach has supported steady growth, including the construction of a permanent church building to replace a temporary structure.

In Nigeria, preparations continued for annual gatherings, even as some churches navigated challenges related to land ownership and government requirements. Despite these difficulties, the six churches in Nigeria remain active and committed to the work.

Christ International Ministries has been sustained for decades by the generosity of individuals and small churches who believe in this mission. Through that support, more than 40 churches have been established across these three countries. As we move further into 2026, plans are underway to return to the mission field later this winter or in early spring to follow up on ongoing work and to encourage pastors and ministry leaders.
